Fresh Islamic terrorist attacks on Christians in plateau villages.
According to Canadian journalist Kirby Marshall, over 50,000 Christians for the love of God, have been murdered in Nigeria in the last 14 years.
This year, just over 24 hours after the Christmas celebration by Christians worldwide, Christians in plateau state experienced a gruesome terrorist attack by Islamic apologetics, killing scores and leaving survivors in displaced critical conditions.
Just when well wishers and concerned citizens were calling on the dizzy Nigerian government to intervene and bring justice to the perpetrators, behold! a fresh attack.
On the eve of Christmas eve, the terrorists invaded more villages in the state, killing a large number of defenseless inhabitants.
It is noteworthy that in all these vicious attacks over the years, there have been very little to no form of resistance from the victims. It is rumoured that a certain hunter took down one of the terrorists with his locally made riffle but it was only a matter of time before he was shot dead.
This has sparked reactions among Nigerians, home and abroad, that since the government is not ready to secure it's citizens, the possession of firearms and assault riffles should be legalized as tools for self defense.
Will the Nigerian government in its usual non chalant attitude take any step to curb the insecurity of it's nation? There's only one way to find out.
The attention of the international community has been drawn to these sad events as they unfold, but what can be expected when they each have their domestic battles going on? Plus, recall that the international community supported and congratulated a drug-dealing, certificate-forging, power-hungry and very illegitimate impostor to become president of a very large democratic nation.
So citizens have raised concerns about what can be expected from these international bodies. Perhaps they might see the plea of innocent Nigerians and step in to salvage the situation, or as usual, turn a blind eye.
